Back at it!

It's been almost 2 years since my last blogpost, wow! I haven't stopped photography, I've just been horrible at updating this site. My goal is to keep it as updated as possible now. So for starters, I'm going to showcase some of my more recent work, because as time passes, photographers learn new techniques and form new styles, so I want to showcase where my work is at now.

Wow, it sure has been awhile since I've updated this blog. I feel like even though it's just been a few months since I've posted, I've learned so much since them. With each session, I'm creating my own style of photography and I feel like this last session shows that. My style has come a long way from my first maternity session 3 years ago! So with that being said, let me introduce you to the cutest expecting couple ever, Michelle and Matt. They were so great to work with, having done pictures not too long ago for their wedding, they knew what poses and looks to make without having direction from me. I love how with their photos you can see the emotion. It's not just a picture showing off Michelle's baby bump, you can actually see the love that these two share, a love that is going to carry over to be amazing, loving parents. Here's just a small preview of their session:

These four sisters were AMAZING to work with. A very relaxed, and sometimes crazy photo session. Some of the best pictures were when they were just being themselves talking/doing random things. It captured who they truly are as people and I think help make these pictures some of my favorites in awhile!

Madeleine: Newborn

Welcome to the world Madeleine! Such a sweet baby that I'm so glad I had the opportunity to meet. She was so small that some of my newborn sized props were not fitting her! Madeleine was a great sport letting us put different hats on and hand her around while mom, dad, and big sister took pictures with her. Big sister Ally loves her so much already, you can see it in the photos!
